Jackie Simes IV represents the fourth generation in a cycling dynasty that includes his father, three-time Olympian Jack Simes III; his grandfather, 1936 National Road Champion and US Bicycling Hall of Famer Jackie Simes II; great-grandfather; and cousin. Jackie started cycling at age nine on the Lehigh Valley Velodrome near his hometown of New Tripoli, PA. He is a 13-time National Championship medalist and won the Junior National Team Pursuit Championship in 2006. After racing with Team Pennsylvania Lighting, he joined fellow Jamis/Sutter Home teammate Nick Frey on Time Pro Cycling in 2008 and continued with Mountain Khaki in 2009.

Jackie captured his first major pro victory in 2010, winning a two-man dash to the line at the Capital Cup Criterium in Washington, DC. With his champion genes and strong track background, Jackie is sure to contribute to Jamis/Sutter Home’s continued success in 2011.
